عجائب الدنيا الجديدة :
" سور الصين العظيم " :
الموقع الجغرافي :
يقع على طول المناطق الشمالية والشمالية الغربية ، تبدأ من " تشن هوانغ داو " على خليج البحر الأصفر شرقا إلى " غاوتاي " غربا ، ويعبر بكين متجها إلى " هاندي " .
تاريخ البناء :
يعود لقبل 2000 عام ، وبني بهدف الدفاع الشامل عن الممالك في تلك الفترة ، وقد قسم إلى 9 أسوار ، ويرأس كل قسم قائد عسكري وعدد من الجنود وعمال الترميم في كل منطقة .
مواصفات بناء السور :
اختلفت الآراء حول طول السور والأغلبية أجمع على أن طوله يبلغ 6400 كم ، و عرض بمعدل 6 أمتار ، أما إرتفاعه يختلف من منطقة لأخرى ، فهو لايقل عن 3 أمتار ولا يزيد عن 8 أمتار .
معالم السور :
يحتوي على العديد من الثكنات العسكرية ، وأبراج المراقبة والنتبيه ، وممرات سرية ، ومنشآت هجومية ، وغرف لحفظ الطعام والمؤن ، وممر مائي لجمع مياه الأمطار وإخراجها بشكل تلقائي خارج السور ، لمنع حدوث أي ضرر للسور .

Geographical location:
Located along the northern and northwestern regions, from "Chen HuangDao" on the Yellow Sea Bay eastward to "Gautai" to the west, and crosses Beijing heading for "Handy."
Construction date:
