عجائب الدنيا السبع القديمة:
" هرم خوفو " :
يعرف بهرم خوفو أو هرم الجيزة أو الهرم الأكبر ، وهو المعلم الوحيد الباقية آثاره حتى الآن منذ آلاف السنين ، وقد تم تصنيفه عالميا أولى عجائب الدنيا السبعة .
يقع في منطقة القاهرة الجديدة وبالتحديد " الجيزة " ، وقد اختلفت أرآء الباحثين الأثريين والمعماريين في طريقة بناء هذه الأعجوبة الهندسية .
تشير بعض الدراسات الأثرية إلى أن حوالي 20 ألف عامل تناوب على بناء الهرم بشكل مستمر وبدون انقطاع حتى استكمل بناء الهرم بشكل كامل ، وقد استغرق بناؤه حوالي 20 عام .
وبلغت عدد الكتل الحجرية المكونة للهرم 2.3 مليون كتلة حجرية تقريبا ، تزن الكتلة الواحدة من 2 - 15 طن ، ويبلغ ارتفاعه عن سطح الأرض 146م ، إلا أن تآكل قمة الهرم بفعل العوامل الطبيعة أدى لانخفاض قمته لمستوى 139 م .

It is located in the New Cairo area, specifically "Giza", and the opinions of archaeological researchers and architects differed on the way in which this engineering marvel was built.
Some archaeological studies indicate that about 20 thousand workers rotated the building of the pyramid continuously and without interruption until the construction of the pyramid was completely completed, and it took about 20 years to build it.
And showed the number of stone blocks that make up the pyramid, approximately 2.3 million stone blocks, each weighing from 2 to 15 tons, and its height from the surface of the earth is 146 meters, except that the top of the pyramid was eroded by natural factors due to its low top to the level of 139 meters.
