البحر الميت :
وهو عبارة عن بحيرة مالحة مغلقة تقع في وادي الأردن ومياهه تحتوي كمية كبيرة من الأملاح تعادل 10 أضعاف الأملاح الموجودة في البحار الأخرى .
تبلغ مساحته 605 كم مربع ومتوسط عمقه 200م عن سطحه حجم مياهه 114 كم مكعب وطول الشاطئ 135 كم .
وهو من الأماكن السياحية المشهورة عالميا لما يتمتع به من خصائص وهي : أن مياه البحر تحتوي العديد من المركبات العلاجية والدوائية ، ونسبة الأوكسجين في هواء هذه المنطقة ذو تركيز أعلى من أي منطقة في العالم مما يجعله منعش للدم والجسم معا .
للدولة الفلسطينية حوالي 40 كم من الساحل إلا أن إسرائيل لا تسمح لهم باستغلال موارد البحر ، وتقدر قيمة الخسائر السنوية لعدم استغلاله بنحو 1.1 مليار دولار أي ما يعادل 13.1 % من قيمة الناتج المحلي الإجمالي .

It is a closed salt lake located in the Jordan Valley and its waters contain a large amount of salts 10 times the salts found in other seas.
It has an area of 605 square kilometers and an average depth of 200 m from its surface with a water volume of 114 cubic kilometers and the length of the beach 135 km.
It is one of the world famous tourist places for its characteristics: that sea water contains many therapeutic and pharmaceutical compounds, and the oxygen content in the air of this region has a higher concentration than any region in the world, which makes it refreshing for both blood and body.
The Palestinian state is about 40 km from the coast, but Israel does not allow them to exploit the resources of the sea, and the annual losses of not exploiting it are estimated at about 1.1 billion dollars, equivalent to 13.1% of the value of GDP.
