محطة " بنبان " للطاقة الشمسية ( مصر ) :
تعتبر أكبر مشاريع الطاقة الشمسية المتجددة على مستوى العالم ، حيث تغطي الألواح الشمسية مساحة تعادل 50 ملعب كرة قدم لدرجة أنه يمكن رؤيتها من الفضاء .
يقع المشروع على بعد 30 كم شمال مدينة أسوان في موقع تسطع فيه الشمس طيلة أيام السنة تقريبا ، حيث يضم المشروع 32 محطة بقدرة إنتاج 1465 غيغاوات أي مايعادل 90% من قيمة إنتاج السد العالي .
وقد بلغت مساحة أرض المشروع 37 كم مربع ، ويشترك في انجاز المشروع 39 شركة متخصصة بتكلفة 3.4 مليار دولار .

Banban Solar Power Station (Egypt):
It is the world's largest renewable solar project, with solar panels covering an area equivalent to 50 football pitches so that they can be seen from space.
The project is located 30 km north of Aswan city in a site where the sun shines throughout the year, where the project includes 32 stations with a production capacity of 1465 gigawatts, equivalent to 90% of the production value of the high dam.
The project has an area of 37 square kilometers, and 39 specialized companies are involved in the project at a cost of $3.4 billion.
