عجائب الدنيا الجديدة :
" تاج محل " :
وهو ضريح ضخم في الهند ، بني من الرخام الأبيض من قبل الإمبراطور المغولي " شاه جهان " ، بهدف تخليد ذكرى زوجته الأميرة " ممتاز محل " .
الموقع :
يقع في منطقة " أغرا " والتي تسمى بمدينة " تاج محل " والتي تتبع لولاية " أتر برديش " الهندية ، عدد سكانها 1.5 مليون نسمة ، تقع على ضفاف نهر " يمونا " ، وتبعد 204 كم عن العاصهة " دلهي " .
بناء الضريح :
استغرق بناء تاج محل 22 سنة ، وأسهم في بناءه 22000 عامل و1000 فيل ، وبلغت كلفته الإجمالية 32 مليون روبية ، وتم الإنتهاء من بناءه عام 1653م .
السياحة :
في الفترة مابين 2016 - 2013 م وصل إجمالي ما أنفقه السياح في تاج محل مايقارب ال 750 مليون دولار ، وقد استقبلت مدينة " أغرا " عام 2015م من السياح بمجموع ما يقرب من 10.812.435 سائح .
التصنيف العالمي :
لقد تم إدراجه ضمن لائحة اليونيسكو للمحافظة على التراث العالمي عام 1983م ، وفي عام 2000م تم اختياره من بين العديد من المواقع العالمية ، ضمن تصنيف عجائب الدنيا الجديدة .

New Wonders:
"Taj Mahal":
It is a huge mausoleum in India, built in white marble by the Mughal Emperor (Shah Jahan") with the aim of commemorating his wife Princess "Excellent Mahal"
Site:
Located in the area of "Agra", which is called the city of "Taj Mahal", which belongs to the Indian state of Atter Pradesh, with a population of 1.5 million, located on the banks of the River "Yamuna", and 204 km from the city of "Delhi".
Building the mausoleum:
The Taj Mahal took 22 years to build, and 22,000 workers and 1,000 elephants contributed to its construction, with a total cost of Rs. 32 million, and was completed in 1653.
Tourism:
Between 2016 and 2013, the total spending by tourists in the Taj Mahal reached nearly $750 million, and in 2015 the city of Agra received a total of approximately 10,812,435 tourists.
World Ranking:
It was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Preservation List in 1983, and in 2000 was selected from among many international sites, in the New Wonders of the World.
